Land Transportation

There are several types of transportation available on Pulau Weh. The most common are taxis and minibuses. Taxis can be chartered per hour or per day with the fare. Minibuses normally go on specific routes and pick up other passengers, but they can also be chartered like taxis.

Boats are also widely used for local transportation. Fishing boats are always available for rental to visitors. Another means of transport is the becak or pedicab. Cars and motorcycles can also be rented.
